Play is built around reading scenes and choosing replies, so the pacing is closer to a novel than to a game with stats to grind. Animated artwork carries the presentation, and the story stays with a male protagonist, which keeps the romance threads anchored to one viewpoint. Because choices shift the relationship tracks, two runs through the same chapter rarely end in the same place.
