In a Scent

About In a Scent

In a Scent is an animated Ren'Py game from Domiek that treats its premise as comedy first. A male lead anchors the cast, and the writing uses teasing and humour to carry scenes that would otherwise be straightforward. The art is 3DCG and the scenes move, so the presentation is closer to an animated novel than to static illustrations with text.

The story reached episode four before the project stopped. The build listed here is Ep. 4 Part 1 (v1.035), dated 23 June 2023, and no later release exists, so what you install is where the story ends. Saves are stable because there is nothing left to update them for, and the version number will not climb past v1.035.

Downloads are available for Windows, Mac, Linux and Android. The text is English only and uncensored, and the engine is Ren'Py, so a low-spec machine is enough to run it. Because the game is unfinished, expect the plot to stop mid-arc rather than close out the threads it opens. Nothing in the package has been cut or censored, so the scenes you get are the ones the developer published.
