Kalyskah

About Kalyskah

Unreal Engine separates this from the Ren'Py titles around it: the camera is over the shoulder or free-roaming, and the game mixes adventure, role-playing and puzzle beats between story scenes. The lead is female and voiced, the art is 3DCG, and the setting is dark fantasy with monsters and paranormal elements. Graphic violence sits next to the adult content, so the tone is heavy throughout.

Version 0.25.9 is the current build, published 25 October 2024 and updated on 27 October 2024. Only a Windows package is listed, and the text is English only. The project is ongoing, and the version number is still below the 1.0 mark, so expect systems to shift between releases rather than settle into a fixed shape.

Unreal builds are large and unpack to a folder of their own; run the executable from inside that folder rather than moving it out, or asset paths break. Saves normally live in the user profile rather than the game directory, so a new build usually keeps progress, but back up the folder anyway if you are mid-playthrough.

How to install

Unpack the archive into a folder and launch the executable inside it. Do not relocate single files out of the build, since Unreal resolves assets relative to the executable.
