Lab Rats 2 is a 3D visual novel set in a research lab, and the plot leans on mind control rather than combat. The male lead builds relationships with the staff around him, and cosplay and drug themes run through the later scenes. Art is rendered 3D with animated frames rather than hand-drawn panels.
It runs on Ren'Py, so the interface is the standard one: dialogue boxes, choice menus, saves and rollback.
