Scenes are chosen, not forced. The writing branches on who Laura trusts and what she is willing to hide, so the affair thread and the voyeurism material only appear along the routes that reach them. Side characters carry their own scenes, and a few of them change the direction of the main plot. Chapter 2 keeps those threads open rather than closing them.
There is no stat grind to clear first. Progress is the story itself, which means a run is shaped by the order you pick scenes in rather than by numbers, and the presentation leans on rendered 3D art instead of drawn backgrounds. Adventure sections break up the dialogue stretches, and the German translation widens the audience beyond English.
