About Mist
Most visual novels stop at dialogue. Mist adds a layer on top: you explore locations, run into monsters and resolve fights through turn-based combat, with RPG structure tracking progress between encounters instead of letting scenes run back to back. Exploration is the connective tissue, and combat is where the pacing slows down.
The horror is present but light, sitting alongside adventure and a harem cast that includes monster girls. Rendered 3D art and animation carry the presentation, and the tone moves between tension and adult scenes depending on where the story has taken you. Combat interrupts the dialogue often enough that the game never feels like a straight read.
The game is complete. Version 1.0.3 was released on 30 September 2022, and no further builds have followed, so the story is closed. Downloads cover Windows, Mac, Linux and Android, the text is English, and the release is uncensored. The page tracks the current files for each platform, and the 1.0.3 build is final.
