About NPC Tales: The Shopkeeper
The premise is a joke that keeps paying off: the hero's quest happens somewhere else, and you hear about it while serving someone. Parody carries the writing, with stock fantasy archetypes walking in and getting a little more familiar on each visit. Nobody stays a background face for long, and the text rewards remembering what a customer said two visits ago.
Interaction is point and click, and the loop is conversational. Talk, sell, follow up on what a customer hinted at, and the next visit goes further. Stripping and exhibitionism are on the tag list, so some requests escalate well past shopping, and because the setting is a shop, stock and money gate progress as much as affection does.
Version 0.45 arrived on 28 June 2026 and was patched on 3 July; D.mon Games is still adding content. Numbers climb in small steps here, so a new build usually means added scenes rather than a rebuilt system. Windows, Mac, Linux and Android are supported, and the download block carries several mirrors for the desktop and phone builds.
