Our Red String follows Lena and Ian, two people in the same kind of trouble from opposite directions. Both are chasing careers that have not arrived, both are recovering from love that went wrong, and both end up tangled with a wider cast whose decisions feed back into each other. The game's own framing calls it a thread that the player pulls: choices made for one lead change what the other walks into, and the outcomes range from affection to betrayal, success to failure. Releases arrive as chapters and episodes rather than one continuous act, and each chapter is split into alpha, beta and full versions.
The current release is Chapter 15.2.3, built in Ren'Py for Windows, Linux, Mac and Android, in English and uncensored. No file size is listed. Art is 2DCG, drawn rather than rendered, and the game mixes point-and-click navigation with turn-based combat, which is unusual for a dating sim and sits as a separate system rather than a reskin of the dialogue scenes. Play is a dating sim in the classic sense: point-and-click scenes carry conversations, dates and confrontations, and turn-based fights sit between them. The cast is large, and the tags cover romance, cheating, corruption, exhibitionism and NTR, with BDSM, sex toys and stripping among the optional content. Choices are tracked per lead, and a decision in one thread can surface as a consequence in the other, which is the mechanical core rather than a cosmetic feature. The English script is uncensored, and the writing lets characters be unpleasant without softening the result.
The project is still in development. Chapter 15.2.3 is dated 2026-10-10, which is also the thread's last update, and the changelog shows chapters arriving through 2025 and into 2026 in a steady cadence. An official walkthrough covers content up to Chapter 11, so later material is handled by the in-game choice feedback rather than a written guide. Because each chapter ships as alpha, beta and full builds, the same content can appear under several version labels before it settles, which explains the density of the changelog for relatively few chapters.
