Parental Love follows a father of two whose marriage to Emily came apart while he was addicted to cocaine. The court granted her sole custody of their daughters, Ada and Elly, and fifteen years separate the divorce from the summer he spends in Ohio with her. By the time the game opens he has been through several rehabilitation programmes, is clean, and has been dating Emily online for months; the first scene is their meeting in a bar. From there the story runs through numbered days, each closing on a conversation that decides which route the player has settled into.

The build is complete at version 1.1 and runs on Ren'Py, with packages for Windows, Mac and Linux. English and Portuguese are the languages the listing states and the release is uncensored. The release date and the most recent update both carry 26 May 2022, so the files represent the finished edition rather than a stop on the way to one, and no archive size is quoted for the three platforms.

Version 1.1 added six scenes, fixed a gallery crash, improved scene skipping and refreshed the Brazilian Portuguese translation; its notes also record French and Polish translations. Version 1.00 is the structural release: it built the fifth and final route, added an achievements menu, carried the Brazilian Portuguese text across the whole game, dropped the Spanish translation, replaced a set of early renders, and shortened the years the lead had gone without seeing Emily while adjusting the characters' ages to match. Old saves were deliberately hidden from the menu at that point, since they no longer worked properly with the new version.

Play is decision making rather than action. The developer's notes state that nearly every choice affects later scenes and that a first run will not reach everything without reloading saves on purpose. The routes divide into a harem path and a separate path for one character, with Elly and Emily each holding their own line and Jenna and Sofi carrying side threads; the fifth route completes the set. Combat exists as a small system added early in development and appears at fixed points in the plot. A day structure, scene gallery and achievements sit around the dialogue, with the gallery appearing at version 0.5 and the achievements menu arriving at 1.00.

Parental Love is listed as completed. Version 1.1 is the newest build, the release date and last update both fall on 26 May 2022, and the text ships in English and Portuguese with the French and Polish additions noted for 1.1. The harem route closed at version 0.99 and the final route at 1.00, so no chapter is waiting on a later revision and a save made on the current build has no later version to migrate to.
