About Something Unlimited
Something Unlimited is a comic-based parody brothel management game. The player runs the operation as Lex, a character whose plan is to rid the world of superheroes and place himself on one of its thrones. That plan needs money he does not have, and the venture that supplies it comes from Roulette, who proposes a meta-bordello and takes a cut of the profits. Recruiting heroines, henchwomen and villainesses into the venue, growing it, and using the takings to fund a campaign against heroes and rival villains is the spine of the game. The framing is comic and parodic, and the art is 2DCG with animation.
Version 2.4.8 is the build carried here, dated 2024-12-24, which is also the last recorded update to the release. It runs on Unity and ships for Windows, Mac and Android, in English only, uncensored. No download size is listed for the build. The changelog note filed under 2.4.8 reads N/A, so the build is effectively the 2.4.7 content set with no new material attached: the scene and event work sits one release behind the version string.
The 2.4.7 update, posted in September 2024, added a Gotham event with eleven backgrounds and a large batch of character content: new costume sets, intro scenes, dance scenes, booth material and penthouse scenes for Batgirl, Candice, Janet Van Dorn, Kathy Duquesne, Summer Gleeson, Talia and Veronica Vreeland, plus booth material for Penguin's henchwomen. Fixes in the same build covered a camera that hung on the Villain's Ball ending and Gotham variables that failed to reset during event replays. The earlier 2.4.6 update added a Gotham event with seven backgrounds and a Themyscira event with six, serving Batgirl, Catwoman, EmmyLou Brown and Twoface on one side and Antiope, Artemis, Grail and Pallas on the other, and repaired a black background in the Artemis vault dance, menu links in the Iceberg Lounge and grammar across both event lines. The 2.4.5 update built the Themyscira event out with a six-background set covering the Amazons, Circe, Hippolyta, Nubia, Wonder Woman and the figures around them, and cleared a run of vault and hotel menu faults.
Play is management first. Characters are brought into the operation and then assigned to events, venues and scene lines, with costumes and booth or penthouse sets gating what each recruit has available. Progress depends on several tracks at once rather than a single storyline, and the faults logged during 2024 concentrate on vault scene unlocking order, hotel menus, drag-and-drop character selection and event triggers, which is the shape of that structure. The genre list covers parody, fantasy, sci-fi, corruption, management, superpowers, prostitution and mind control, with trainer and blackmail mechanics alongside them.
Development has stopped. The project is marked abandoned, so 2.4.8 of December 2024 stands as the final build rather than a pause. Before that the release rhythm was steady through 2024, with updates in March, June and September, and the silence after December is the end of that run. The build is uncensored, English only, and covers Windows, Mac and Android.
