About Cursed Armor

The loop is dungeon crawling with a catch: each cursed piece grants power and applies conditions in return. What you do with that leverage moves a corruption meter forward, and the townsfolk treat a heavily marked character differently from a fresh arrival. Bondage, piercings and monster encounters all feed the same progression.

It runs on RPG Maker, which means 2D sprites on tiled maps and menu-driven battles rather than an open world. Branches for hypnosis and mind control sit next to straight combat, so two runs can end up in very different places even though the maps repeat. The map order is fixed, but the state you arrive in is not, so a second pass through the same dungeon reads differently.

The project closed at version 3.01, last touched on 3 July 2024, so the campaign you start is the campaign that ships. Because it is finished, there is no roadmap to wait on: the branches you can reach are the ones that exist, and the English build is the only version listed. This page tracks the newest release and promises no files of its own until a build is attached; watch the download block for that.
